Coke Zero launches NRL footy skills contest
Coke Zero has launched a competition for nine NRL teams to go head-to-head in a test of their footy skills.
Called Coke Zero Challenges, the likes of the Raiders, Panthers and Rabbitohs will be competing. The skills challenges will include a ‘high bomb catch’, catching a ball launched 50 metres in the air, and ‘small domestic bin’, kicking a ball into an open target more than 50 metres away.
Video captured from the events will be posted on Coke Zero’s YouTube channel.
Promotion of the Coke Zero Challenges has already started via a campaign devised by Host.
Pamela Wyatt, Coke Zero marketing manager said: “Our Coke Zero Challenges provide each NRL team the chance to put their footy skills to the test and give fans another reason to get behind their favourite team this season.”

I think these are fun. But I do wonder why I keep seeing them in Melbourne where no-one gives a toss about NRL. I’d assume they are running in SA and WA too, which would be the same problem. Surely they’d be better off running something else in these states…
