Cubed Communications has created a new TV ad for University of Ballarat featuring Nick Maxwell, former student and current captain of AFL team Collingwood.
The ad went to air yesterday, which followed Collingwood’s advancement into this weekend’s AFL Grand Final.
Professor David Battersby, the university’s vice-chancellor, said: “This campaign is about inspiring our current and prospective students with Nick’s learning journey from student to leader. Irrespective of what team or sport you follow, you can’t help but admire Nick’s incredible achievements and leadership qualities.”
The guy is a good footballer, so what? Any link between his time spent at Uni of Ballarat and his success as a footballer is tenuous at best.
