Commercial Monitors does Factiva deal
Summaries of Australia’s TV and radio current affairs coverage are going to be available on the Factiva database for the first time.
It follows a deal between the Commercial Monitors , which tracks Australian advertising and media, and Dow Jones, the owner of Factiva. Factiva is used by industry and researchers across the world to keep track of more than 14,000 sources.
The coverage will include the free to air stations in the metro areas, with plans to include Sky News and the Sky Business channel in the new year.
“It will take the distribution of our Australian broadcast content to a new global level,” said Mark Scatchard, director of Commercial Monitors.
