Comms Declare rebrands with help from Paper Moose and Silver Lining

Comms Declare has rebranded so it can “reach beyond the ad world to media and clients, under a new brand and digital offering from two of its member agencies”.

The announcement:

Climate communications charity, Comms Declare, is expanding its reach beyond the ad world to media and clients, under a new brand and digital offering from two of its member agencies.

The rebrand from Paper Moose reignites Comms Declare’s visual and verbal presence as it celebrates its fifth year advancing ethical, climate-conscious communications across Australia’s advertising, PR, and media sectors.

Founded as a call for agencies to pledge “no fossil fuel clients”, Comms Declare has evolved into the industry’s fiercest advocate for responsible and ethical practice. Their new identity captures that evolution, strengthening brand foundations and injecting a refreshed, energised tone of voice to spark action across the sector.

Kenn Huang, Paper Moose head of design, said: “It’s inspiring to work with a brand so dedicated to positive change. Drawing on Mondrian, I aimed for a clean, essential design. The ‘d’ uses negative space as a nod to nature and our region. Some see a baby kiwi, echidna, or leaf. The lowercase form keeps the logo honest, inclusive, and approachable, just like the brand.”

Paper Moose worked with Comms Declare to define the brand’s purpose, mission, values, and proposition, then distilled the organisation’s voice into a clear, passionate, and optimistic tone. The creative pillars and messaging were developed in close collaboration, with a focus on simplicity and inclusivity.

Silver Lining – another B Corp agency – created the Clean Directory for Comms Declare’s new website, making it simple for businesses to find partners committed to fossil fuel-free supply chains. Designed for extreme ease of use, the tool shortens the distance between organisations and their climate values, accelerating the creation of more ethical networks.

Comms Declare founder, Belinda Noble said, “We’re choosing momentum over perfection, with a new pledge for members and offerings for media and clients. The economy is under massive transformation and the smart communicators are switching sides to clean solutions now.”
