Concrete Playground bolsters commercial team with four new hires

Lifestyle media company Concrete Playground has boosted its commercial team with a series of hires and promotions, including operations director Natalie Ratcliffe.

Ratcliffe was previously senior commercial operations manager at Time Out APAC.

Whitney Higginson and Belle Stewart have been appointed as senior business managers. Higginson’s previous roles include senior account manager at Business Chicks and group advertising manager at Pedestrian. Stewart comes from Sumo Salad, where she was marketing manager, and prior to that worked at Tastemade in the UK.

Other hires include Jane Ryan, former editor at DrinkUp London, who has been appointed as project manager.

Internally, Tahlia Phillips has been promoted to commercial director, and will lead commercial strategy and execution after three years with Concrete Playground. In other promotions, Jarrod Kris has been hired as partnerships director, leading the publication’s proactive partnerships nationally.

The publication has previously worked with brands including American Express, Samsung, Heineken, LVMH Moët Hennessy, Diageo, Mitsubishi, Tourism New Zealand and Zantac.
