Condom brand invites Aussies to choose music that goes best with sex

A brand of condoms has launched a digital campaign that invites Aussies to create a list of the best songs to play while having sex.

Ansell brand SKYN has struck a deal with music streaming site Spotify to create the ‘SKYN the Mix’ campaign, which invites users to vote on their favourite ‘bedroom boogie’ songs.

Currently on top of the list is Barry White’s ‘Can’t get enough of your love babe’, ‘Sexual healing’ by Marvin Gaye and ‘Wicked Game’ by Chris Isaak. Lion Richie’s ‘All night long’ is fourth.

The full list can be seen here.

Nicole Hillier sales and marketing director Ansell/SKYN, said: “The SKYN the Mix campaign allows consumers to engage with the SKYN brand in a relaxed environment. Importantly, the music context and partnership with Spotify makes it easy for our audience to share the campaign through social channels and associate the brand with something they love, music.”

Aaron Tobin, general manager of Rodeo, said: “SKYN the Mix is a fun, light-hearted way for people to engage with a product that is still considered fairly taboo. It allows people to be cheeky and adventurous, without feeling embarrassed, by tapping into the popular pastime of making and mixing music.”

Rodeo was appointed by SKYN’s parent company Ansell in August. Rodeo built the SKYN the Mix microsite, developed Facebook integration and secured the media partnership with Spotify.
