Consultancy Maximus launches magazine for Australian leaders
Australian leadership consultancy Maximus will launch a bi-annual magazine for Australian leaders.
Known as ‘M Magazine’, the 64-page title will seek to provide c-suite leaders and heads of human resources with a magazine to “read from and relate to”.
The magazine is divided into four categories: future focus, people-centred design, technology and design, and beyond the office. It will be distributed for free to 500 handpicked leaders.
At this point there is no advertising budget or income-generated focus. The issue has been made to provide clients and partners with thought-provoking content.
Vanessa Gavan, founder and managing director of Maximus, said the magazine will focus on “crucial” topics” for leaders in Australia.
“Our vision in preparing this first edition was to assemble a rich collection of material that’s inspirational and aspirational, and also has genuine utility,” Gavan told Mumbrella.
“If we’ve done our job, issue one will also be a volume that leaders will return to as a valuable resource, which is why print was the direction we wanted to take for our content.”
James Aris, marketing and innovation manager at Maximus, said the print model was chosen to ensure it was something leaders could “physically have available”.
“With the transience of digital content everywhere, we carefully selected the major topic areas that leaders will want to come back to again and again. We’re very proud of the inaugural magazine and feel strongly that it has delivered on our objective,” Aris said.
