Consumer watchdog warns against buying dodgy products this silly season

Consumer watchdog Choice has released a new campaign to warn Australians against buying dodgy products this summer.

The campaign, which introduces the line ‘Buy smart this silly season’, is the first work by Choice’s new ad agency, Sydney-based Workshop.

The TV work is supported by online and print advertising.

Kate Lalak, director of marketing and members services at Choice, said: “We reviewed several agencies and chose Workshop to partner with us because of their full understanding of our marketing challenges, the clarity of their strategic approach and the strength of their creative. We want to remind people about the benefits of Choice and drive subscriptions at this key retail period n the lead up to Christmas & the New Year.”

The campaign runs until December 26.
