Corporate communications firm Citadel-Magnus appoints new Perth Director

Citadel-MAGNUS, Australia’s leading independent corporate and financial communication advisory firm, has strengthened its Corporate Reputation team with the appointment of Tamatha Smith as Director in the firm’s Perth office.

Tamatha brings to the firm more than 25 years’ experience from a career that has spanned journalism, corporate affairs management, public and government relations and senior roles within the Commonwealth and Western Australian governments.

For the past four years she served as Chief of Staff to the Western Australian Minister for Environment and Heritage. Tamatha’s expertise includes issues and crisis management, internal and external stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, policy development and brand and reputation management.

She has an intimate knowledge of the workings of the Parliament, executive government, the public sector and regulatory processes. Her client experience has included extensive work with listed and private entities across a range of industry sectors.

Managing Director and co-founder John Gardner said Tamatha’s appointment added significant depth to Citadel-MAGNUS’ corporate communication, stakeholder engagement and government relations expertise.
