Cottee’s cordials urges ‘everybody chill’ in social media campaign rejecting closure reports

Cottee’s cordials have hit back at reports suggesting the company was set to close its doors with a new ad campaign asserting the brand and its products are here to stay.

A Cottee’s social media campaign is rejecting media reports that the brand was set to close its doors after almost 90 years due to poor sales via a campaign aimed at reminding the public that the brand is “alive and well”.

In a media release, the brand said: “Cottee’s is looking forward to being a part of family celebrations for Australians for many years to come. We appreciate the loyalty of our Aussie consumers and thank them for getting behind the brand and sharing their overwhelmingly positive comments. We hope you enjoy our new ad and can rest easy knowing that we aren’t going anywhere!”

Cottee’s was known for its ads featuring the jingle: “My dad picks the fruit that goes to Cottee’s”.
