Country Road, Kathmandu, Treasury Wine Estates and Facebook: final speakers at Retail Marketing Summit

How leading retail brands are riding the next wave of mobile marketing, and Treasury Wine Estates’ strategy to transform its user journey model to drive business growth globally, are the final sessions to be added to Mumbrella’s Retail Marketing Summit to be held next month.

In a session moderated by Facebook’s head of retail Kate Box, Country Road’s head of marketing Col Kennedy and Kathmandu’s group marketing manager John Sette will share their mobile strategies, and results and learnings from recent mobile marketing initiatives.

Meanwhile, Treasury Wine Estates marketing director Angus Lilley, and JWT managing partner, Georgia Bruton, will outline how its locally-developed user journey model – which puts the consumer, shopper and retailer at the heart of all its business decisions and strategies – is delivering results for their brands, which include Wolf Blass and Matua, and the overarching business globally.

Other session at the summit include demystifying artificial intelligence and how it can improve the bottom line, the impact of Amazon on Australian retailers, how iconic Aussie retailers are fighting the fast-fashion frenzy and how kids influence their parents’ in-store shopping behaviour.

The summit program also features international keynote, Sainsbury’s head of customer experience design, Clare Muscutt; Myer’s executive GM of property, store development and services, Tim Clark; Woolworths’ director of loyalty and customer data, Ingrid Maes; Coles’ head of customer voice, Dale Preston; L’Oreal’s digital chief, Christophe Eymery; and marketing chiefs such as McDonald’s Jo Feeney, Unilever’s John Broome, Luxottica’s Jee Moon, Jeanswest’s Belinda Waller and Sportsgirl’s Anna Stevens.

The Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit will be held in Sydney on February 15, 2017.
