Cox Inall Communications retains Sydney Royal Easter Show PR account
Cox Inall Communications has won the Sydney Royal Easter Show PR account for the 21st time.
According to Cox Inall Communications, its relationship with the Sydney Royal Easter Show is the longest standing client-agency relationship in the country, having first won the account in 1997.
Murray Wilton, RAS general manager agriculture and Sydney Royal Easter Show, said in a statement: “We at the RAS congratulate Cox Inall on its 21st anniversary of working with us on the Sydney
Royal Easter Show.
“Ours has been a very close and professional association which has seen us unlock some of the great stories about rural NSW at this annual meeting of city and country.
“The 2018 Show is shaping to be a huge hit with Showgoers and that is in no small part because of how our teams have worked together to promote what we have in store.”
Tim Powell, managing director at Cox Inall Communications, added: “We have evolved with the Show – riding the shift from Moore Park to the Sydney Olympic Park site, integrating social media and influencers into the Show’s marketing program, and re-thinking how we PR the Show in a shifting media and demographic landscape.”
The way this is written makes it sounds like they’ve had to pitch each year for the last 21 years. Tell me that’s not the case…
