Craveable Brands, owner of Red Rooster and Oporto, pitches media account
Craveable Brands, the parent company of Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat, has opened a pitch for its media account.
A Craveable Brands spokesperson confirmed the pitch to Mumbrella, saying the group was pitching as a “regular post-contract period review”.
The pitch follows the March appointment of Red Rooster’s former CEO, Nick Keenan, as the CEO of Publicis Media’s agency Starcom.
Starcom declined to comment about its potential involvement in a pitch
Group M’s Mindshare currently holds the media account for Craveable Brands. The agency has been contacted for comment and Mumbrella understands it will be defending the account.
The creative account for Craveable Brands sits with Leo Burnett, after it took over from Host Havas in 2018. Craveable Brands previously consolidated its accounts with Host Havas, moving Oporto from Publicis and Chicken Treat from Marketforce, but the arrangement only lasted a year.
Back in January last year, Ashley Hughes moved across from competitor KFC to become the director of marketing for Red Rooster.
