Creative communications agency Mr Carter wins PR account for Proper Goods

Communications agency Mr Carter has won the account for eyewear distributor Proper Goods.

The agency will be responsible for the content creation, public relations and strategic communications for Proper Good’s brand portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.

Proper Goods brands Garrett Leight California Optical, Moscot and L.G.R.

The Proper Good brand portfolio includes Ahlem, Carven, Garrett Leight California Optical, Kilsgaard, Moscot, Mr. Leight, L.G.R, Lunor, and Paul & Joe.

Proper Goods founder and director, Ben Walters, said in a statement: “A lot of our brands are well-positioned for a rapid growth phase here in the Australian market and we’re excited to work closely with Mr Carter to create distinctive campaigns for each and elevate their public profiles.

“Mr Carter’s strong fashion credentials and proven understanding of market positioning from launching brands such as Stylerunner and Venroy really appealed to us.”

Mr Carter managing director, Cameron Carter, said: “Throughout my career I’ve worked with multiple-brand eyewear companies Beauvision and Safilo Group, Oliver Peoples in London, Australian independent designer Graz Mulcahy of Graz Studio’s, and direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand Pacifico Optical, so I look forward to furthering my knowledge in the optical category and representing a new generation of designers.”

Mr Carter has also worked with Bacardi, Bombay Sapphire and Persil.
