Creative studio Buffet recruits Melinda Evans as operations manager
Sydney-based creative content studio, Buffet, has appointed Melinda Evans as operations manager.

This dedicated senior management role will see Melinda oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio’s creative and accounts teams, assisting to lead the business through a period of rapid growth.
Buffet was founded in 2017 by Broadsheet’s first Sydney editor, Sophie McComas-Williams, and food Photographer Nikki To, and works to create original content for the hospitality, food and beverage industries. Clients include Breville, QT Hotels, Archie Rose Distilling Co, Fink, Heaps Normal, Fratelli Paradiso and Solotel. Services include content and campaign strategy, social media management, photography, videography, graphic design and brand identity, copywriting and a soon-to-launch audio production arm.
Melinda arrives at Buffet from a successful role as operations manager at Mecca Coffee where she led their team through numerous COVID challenges, increasing the revenue of the roaster’s online sales six fold. “’I’m very excited and privileged to join Buffet,” she says. “The high quality of their work and the commitment of the current team to excellence is reflected in their industry regard and I welcome the challenge of working with this powerhouse team in their growth and development.”

Melinda will work across the studio’s plans for interstate expansion, as well as building upon various other arms of the Buffet offering, including a future in-house studio space.
