Crime Stoppers warns about dodgy security providers in new ad

The Australian Security Industry Association Ltd (ASIAL) and Crime Stoppers have launched a new ad urging consumers to only use licensed security professionals when securing their homes and businesses.

The TVC, by ad agency First Light and production company True Pictures, shows a security provider robbing a home that he had apparently equipped with cameras.

“In essence, the benefit to consumers of using an ASIAL member is that they are dealing with a provider who has met ASIAL Membership criteria and is bound by the Code of Practice,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
