May 27, 2011 –

Australasia’s largest retail marketing services company CROSSMARK has appointed Grant Leach as Managing Director of its New Zealand office, following the recent announcement of a new structure for its executive team across Australia and New Zealand.

Leach’s appointment follows the appointment of Polly Yule to the newly created position of Managing Director for Australia, based out of CROSSMARK’s Sydney office.

Leach comes to CROSSMARK with over 15 years experience in professional service encompassing work in business and finance. He has held a number of senior positions in international agencies including roles at Saatchi & Saatchi and Bates. Most recently, he led a medium sized, fully independent communications agency. He also has a strong commerce and finance background from an earlier role in corporate banking.

Leach’s appointment signifies CROSSMARK’s move toward improving its communications and innovation between global retailers and manufacturers in the US, Canada, and Australia, and improving shopper experience and category sales across all retail channels in New Zealand.

He will report to Asia-Pacific CEO Kevin Moore, who said: “We are very excited to have appointed an MD for New Zealand. This signifies a change in how we facilitate communication with our clients, and we believe that Grant will successfully lead this change.”

“Grant’s experience encompasses a number of business areas and we believe he will be able to take our New Zealand office to the next level as we continue our commitment to facilitating effective two way communication with our clients.”

Leach will train in the Sydney office during May before officially beginning in his new role at the beginning of June based out of CROSSMARK’s Auckland office.
