Crown Resorts promotes Zoe Walsh and Victoria Loughnan to head of public relations in Sydney and Melbourne
Crown Resorts has promoted Zoe Walsh and Victoria Loughnan to head of public relations Sydney and Melbourne, respectively.
Walsh has been with Crown for nine months, starting as senior communications manager. Prior to joining Crown, she was an account director at OPR. Loughnan joined Crown in September 2014 as an events and entertainment executive, later becoming a senior communications manager in 2017.

Loughnan has relocated to Melbourne for the role – which is new to Crown Resorts. She previously worked for the company in Perth.
Walsh and Loughnan report into group general manager of PR and partnerships, Alexandra Smith.
Crown declined to comment on the appointments of Walsh and Loughnan.
Mumbrella understands Walsh and Loughnan will be working on consumer PR, however the company is also facing three inquiries into the casinos managed by Crown Resorts.
The first inquiry in NSW, which began in January, is investigating whether the proposed deal between James Packer and Lawrence Ho for 20% of Crown for $1.75bn breaches the Sydney casino’s licence. A clause in Crown’s licence for the Barangaroo site, which is still under construction, prohibits Ho’s father, Stanley Ho, and a list of other companies from being associates of Crown.
It will also investigate a range of allegations made by Nine’s media assets, including money laundering taking place in Crown Melbourne’s high-roller rooms, and dealing with junket operators that have links to organised crime groups.
The two other inquiries in Victoria are yet to take place. The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation is set to also investigate the allegations made by Nine and wider media reports.
