Cutting Edge hosts BH60 screening
Post-production company Cutting Edge celebrated the 120 VFX shots – including theh largest CI explosion ever in an Australian film – and full DI done for Beneath Hill 60 with a screening in Sydney.
Director Jeremy Sims and producers Bill Leimbach and David Roach were in attendance.Cutting Edge’s VFX Supervisor Ron Roberts worked very closely with director, producer, DOP and production designer to determine which shots could be enhanced, or achieved in total as CGI. Roberts visited the shoot in Townsville to ensure that everything his team needed for VFX post was captured on film.
The film features 120 VFX shots, from set extensions, sky replacements, matte paintings to full CGI explosions.
