He will be responsible for working with PwC Consulting’s leaders to position the practice’s offerings in the market.

“We are delighted Dan is joining our Consulting business in April and believe his breadth of experience will add a fresh perspective on how we connect and communicate with our clients and the community at large,” managing partner of consulting, Liza Maimone, said.

Silkstone spent just over two years at Thinkplace, and before that was head of content at Australian Renewable Energy Agency. He also served in various roles at The Age, including weekend editor and deputy news director.

“I’m excited to soon be joining PwC to take up this opportunity,” Silkstone said.

“I look forward to meeting and learning from my new colleagues and can’t wait to add my own experience and skills to the considerable strength and expertise that’s already within the firm.”
