One of Seven’s newest shows Dance Boss aired its double finale last night with 349,000 tuning in for the first episode and 264,000 for its last episode, which included the winner announcement.
The show ran from 7:30pm to 10:30pm as the network squeezed together the final episodes.
The finale was significantly down on the program’s debut, which saw 599,000 metro viewers tune in.
Nationally, the first finale episode managed 550,000 viewers while the final show attracted 384,000 viewers.

Starting at 7.30pm, Dance Boss went up against Nine’s The Block which managed 1.088m metro viewers and Ten’s Australian Survivor which saw 674,000 tune in.
The Block was the most-watched program across key advertising demographics 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s.
Due to Dance Boss’ poor performance, Seven lost out to the ABC in audience share, securing 13.8% compared to the national broadcaster’s 17/5%.
Ten also had a main channel share of 13.8%, compared to Nine’s 21.5%.
On a network basis, including multi-channels, Nine remained on top with 28.8%, but thanks to strong performances from 7mate (4.1%) and 7Two (3.8%0, Seven Network climbed to second with 23.5%.
ABC’s network had a 22.1% audience share, whole Ten was on 19.8% and SBS Network on 5.8%.
