Danielle Lowry joins Pacific Magazines as head of commercial product

Former head of product for media at Domain, Danielle Lowry, has joined Pacific Magazines as head of commercial product.

Lowry has worked in a number of media companies, including Multi-Channel Network (MCN), where she was commercial product manager, and Yahoo7, where she held product management and commercial roles.

Lowry will lead Pacific Magazines’ native content strategy

At Pacific Magazines, Lowry will seek to drive the publishers’ video and native content strategies. She will also be tasked with building out the product and commercial model.

Nicole Bence, commercial director for Pacific Magazines said Lowry was the perfect person for the role.

“Danielle is playing a major role in our digital success, particularly in video, which is our fastest growing revenue stream,” Bence said.

Commenting on her new position, Lowry added: “I’m excited to join Pacific, a business that is deeply passionate about building digital communities around its brands. This is a great opportunity for me to combine my product and commercial skills as I accelerate revenue growth for a business that is in transition.”

The news comes three weeks after the appointment of insights and strategy boss, Rebecca Alexander-Head and two months after the appointment of client strategy director, Emma Baston.
