DAN’s Gyro appoints creative director and director of strategy

Full-service B2B agency Gyro has named Jessie Jordan as its creative director and Simon Rich as director of strategy.

The Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) agency’s new appointments both have experience in the B2B marketing space and will be responsible for Gyro’s creative output in Australia.

Jordan has worked for a number of agencies and clients including Coke, Visa and Microsoft, while Rich has 20 years’ experience leading B2B brands such as QBE and HSBC.

“Our vision for the agency is to change expectations when it comes to the B2B landscape,” said Gyro’s managing director, Dom Weatherhead.

“We’ve brought in Jessie and Simon because of their shared passion and eye for research and ideas, which will be pivotal as we transform our offering for B2B clients across the region.”

In 2017, a year after acquiring Gyro, DAN rebranded local B2B agencies Interprise and Band Interprise to also be named Gyro.

The holding group is in a period of transformation, making a number of high-profile hires across its agencies such as Sue Squillace, Michael Bass and Ashley Earnshaw, and shedding multiple executives including Simon Williams, Nick Swifte and Indy Khabra.
