The lead-in for the hypnosis show helped Nine at 8:15pm with 60 Minutes drawing 927,000 viewers to beat Seven’s Sunday Night which drew 711,000 at 8:30pm. The broadcast of Tim Minchin’s Matilda and Me drew 737,000 viewers at 7:30pm.
Ten’s highest rating program of the night was Family Feud at 6:00pm, which drew 439,000 viewers.
In the later slots Nine had 314,000 viewers for The Wolf of Wall Street which was beaten by Castle on 349,000.

With what is happening around the world with terrorism so prevalent and any news night there is tragedy at home in the water, on the roads and gangland wars maybe just maybe Joe average flicked the people meter to watch the heavily promoted show, and have a laugh on a Sunday night with innocent fun. Is it a brilliant show NO, will I watch to have a laugh after the gloom YES.

The test will be weeks 2 & 3 – is the novelty sustainable??
Quite possibly as, personally, I’m done with cooking & renovation shows.
There is a lack of entertainment on Tzv.

Nine has outdone themselves. This was one of their worst shows to date.

But twitter is just electronic graffiti as Tony Abbott put it so well. I agree with #6 Buyer – that weeks 2 and 3 will be the test.
Dunno if the hypno show is any good, but I am so over food and renovation shows!
