David Joubert joins GPY&R Sydney
George Patterson Y&R’s David Joubert has joined the Sydney team after a move from the agency’s Brisbane office.
The announcement:
Award winning art director David Joubert has transferred the Sydney office of George Patterson Y&R following an 18-month stint as joint cd at the agency’s Brisbane shop.
Joubert joined Patts from South African creative powerhouse TBWA/Hunt Lascaris, following stints with Leo Burnett in Asia working across McDonalds, Tiger Beer, IBM and Standard Bank.
In Brisbane, Joubert and joint cd Piet Human, won swag of silver and gold at Brisbane Art Directors, ADMA, the AMI, Outdoor Advertising Association and a One Show finalist, significantly lifting the creative profile of the agency and its new business track record.
Julian Watt, ecd at Patts Sydney, said he was thrilled to welcome Joubert to the growing team.
