The APAC bosses of global creative network DDB and media network Maxus are to join Nike’s Greater China marketing head and the man leading STW Group’s push into Southeast Asia for a Mumbrella360 panel discussion on the big challenges facing the industry in Asia-Pacific.

John Zeigler, the regional CEO and chairman of DDB Asia Pacific, India and Japan; Neil Stewart, APAC CEO of Maxus; Chris Savage, COO of STW Group and Nike’s Greater China marketing head Simon Pestridge are to air their views on the hot-button issues they face – and how these issues impact Australia.

Zeigler is one of the region’s longest-serving ad agency CEOs, having taken the top regional post at DDB in 2004. The Australian has been with DDB since the early nineties, running the Melbourne office as MD before moving to Asia in 1996 to lead the Southeast Asian operation.

He was marketing director for Nike Australia and NZ from 2003 to 2005, and spent a year as global brand director before moving to Asia in 2010 to take his current role running the marketing department in one of Nike’s fastest growing markets – China. He will join the conversation by video from Shanghai

The debate will be moderated by Mumbrella Asia’s editor Robin Hicks. If you have a question for any of the panel, drop him a line at robin.hicks@mumbrella.asia.

The debate will run in the new Asia stream at Mumbrella 360, created with the support of strategic partner Destination NSW and Vivid Sydney.
