ABC’s Whitlam doco rates just under 1m
ABC1’s biographical focus on Sunday night saw documentary Whitlam: The Power And The Passion rate 983,000 while Cliffy, the biopic of ultramarathon runner Cliff Young, rated 927,000.
Meanwhile, the most watched program of Sunday was Seven News, which rated 1.56m according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM.
The Block rated 1.476m. Nine’s 60 Minutes also had another strong night, rating 1.405m.
Among local dramas, A Place To Call Home rated 1.16m for Seven while House Husbands rated 1.034m for Nine.
Ten’s The Biggest Loser rated 905,000. Elementary delivered 791,000 and Modern family 790,000.
Nine and Seven were almost neck-and-neck in overall share, 22.6 per cent and 22.3 per cent respectively.
Ten and ABC1 had a similarly close battle for third, on 14.8 per cent and 14 per cent respectively.
