Deepend appoints Kim Verbrugghe head of planning

Digital agency Deepend has promoted Kim Verbrugghe to the newly created role of head of planning.

Verbrugghe: Promoted after five years with agency

Verbrugghe joined Deepend as a strategic account manager in 2012, and since then has taken on roles including digital strategist and senior strategist.

Her appointment comes as the Sydney agency moves to a strategy-led approach.

Verbrugghe said: “Strategy at its core is about finding and focussing on the best of many possible paths to deliver value to the end user, often encompassing multiple forms, including content, product, service and digital.

“I’m always looking at ways we can drive our offering to respond to evolving market needs, and build on our research capabilities and partnerships to support our clients’ needs now and in the future.”

Hamilton Jones, managing director of Deepend, said: “Kim has been an incredibly passionate driver of change throughout her career with us, and her move is an important part of the broader work we are doing to ensure Deepend continues to grow its reputation as a strategy-first collective.”
