Defence Force Recruiting shows women why they should join Army
The Australian Army is targeting women in its latest release of content as part of its biggest recruitment push to date, with the series of video showing women the benefits of joining.
The videos see Army women discussing topics including the roles available, equal pay and work-life balance.
The first video shows young women exploring interests such as piano, bush-walking and spending time with friends.
A second video talks about how women and men can do the same roles in the Army and receive the same promotions and ranks.
A shorter clip talks about equal pay.
The videos are supported by a dedicated page on the Army’s website, which provides information for women interested in enlisting.
In 2015, Havas unveiled ‘Do What You Love’, a campaign encouraging women to join the Army.
Havas Sydney is Defence Force Recruiting’s agency of record.
