Deloitte and Posterscope alumni join new agency group, Venetian Media Group

A week after launching as a local agency group, Venetian Media Group (VMG) has added Posterscope’s Samantha Summers and Deloitte’s Andrew Butler to its ranks.

Butler becomes executive director, driving business growth, while Summers’ role is group head of marketing across the parent company’s agencies, which include: brand experience and content agency Yakkazoo, out-of-home provider Revolution 360, local area marketing company Captive Vision Outdoor (CVO), installation and print solutions agency VIM, and media agency Frontier Advertising.

Summers has more than 15 years’ experience at Adshel, Clear Channel Outdoor, and Skyfii. Most recently, she was group business director for Posterscope, where she worked on accounts like Woolworths, Jaguar Land Rover, and Glenfiddich.

Butler, meanwhile owns and operates accounting business Wheelhouse Advisory, which has seen him work with media and advertising companies. He spent five years at Deloitte and worked in the military.

“We have known Andrew a long time and are excited to have him on board. AB’s experience and reputation in market will make him a fantastic addition to the leadership team at VMG, helping to shape the business and position us for growth,” said VMG director Michael Fishwick, who founded the group with his father Mark.

“Sam brings a strong people and client focus to the newly created, senior role and will be an asset to the group in helping drive the business forward, concentrating on both internal and external marketing initiatives.

“We are thrilled to have them both join the VMG family.”

Media agency Frontier is the latest acquisition for the group, with clients such as New Balance, Beds R Us and Ultratune. With the launch of the group, Revolution 360’s media business has split from its experience arm, which has been rebranded to form separate agency Yakkazoo.

“The recent acquisition of Frontier Advertising provides an exciting growth opportunity for both VMG and Frontier and will undoubtedly be a highly valued addition to the fold for our collective clients,” Fish said.

“Frontier is a fantastic business and we’re excited for what the future holds together.”
