Deloitte Digital takes home a Bronze Lion at Cannes on quiet day three

Cannes Lions has announced the winners overnight for Digital Craft Lions, Industry Craft Lions, Film Craft Lions, Entertainment Lions for Sport, Entertainment Lions for Music and Entertainment Lions.

In this round, only one Australian agency came away a winner, with Deliotte Digital Melbourne winning a Bronze Lion for its Belong Carbon Thumbprint campaign.

Yesterday, the winners for the Creative Data Lions, Creative Strategy Lions, Direct Lions, Media Lions, PR Lions, and Social & Influencer Lions were announced, seeing 12 Australian and New Zealand companies take home a total of 16 Lions.

The campaign from Deliotte Digital Melbourne asked Australians to consider the environmental footprint their data usage causes, by calculating the amount of CO2 caused by their mobile data.

Despite the win for Deloitte Digital, Belong announced on Friday that it was moving it creative account to Howatson + White, becoming recently founded agency’s second confirmed client.

Belong is a carbon neutral, low-cost mobile service owned by Telstra.

Other categories to have been announced already on Tuesday include Design Lions, Outdoor Lions, Print & Publishing Lions, Health & Wellness Lions and Pharma Lions, with six Australian and New Zealand companies taking home wins.

There are still two more days of awards to come.
