Dentsu Aegis Network’s Amplifi appoints Lou Romeo and Ivo Kavelj as state general managers
Amplifi, Dentsu Aegis Network’s media investment and innovation arm, has appointed Ivo Kavelj as general manager for Victoria and Lou Romeo as general manager for NSW and Queensland.
Romeo joined DAN in 2016 as Carat Sydney’s head of investment and activation from Ikon Communications, having previously held roles at Mediacom, OMD, and Mindshare.
Previously UM’s Melbourne managing director, Kavelji was most recently Initiative’s general manager of partnerships on the Bunnings account.
Ashley Earnshaw, chief investment officer for Amplifi, said of the newly-created roles: “Amplifi has an ambition to be the most future-focused investment team in market, and to help achieve this, we have added new depth to our leadership team.
“Ivo and Lou are both proven performers in the industry, and their leadership will bring new thinking and innovation to our leadership team. By bringing in new capability and advancing our own talent, we are growing our offering and delivery for clients in a very exciting way.”
