Dentsu Creative hires Cognizant talent to lead new experience design and product lab

Dentsu Creative launched a newly formed experience design and product lab, looking to Cognizant for its lead.

Gabriel Tamborini joins as chief experience and product officer, as Dentsu said the lab brings the company’s creative and experience design teams together to deliver products for clients.

Tamborini was brought in to bolster Dentsu Creative’s presence in the market and expand its remit in experience, design and product strategy. He will report to Dentsu Creative ANZ chief executive Kirsty Muddle.

“Dentsu Creative is designed to not only help our partners transform their communications through creativity, but also transform their business. Central to this is housing the best talent in Experience, Product and Service Design,” Muddle said.

“Gabe unites creativity and technology to deliver this effectiveness, and at Dentsu Creative he will lead a team of conceptual thinkers, innovation strategists, technologists and experience designers to connect with the scale of our CXM business, working closely with our CCO’s, Avish and Mandie.”

Tamborini had been head of design and experience at Cognizant since 2021, and experience design director at PwC Australia from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, he worked at Fjord from 2016 to 2019, Reactive from 2011 to 2016, Different from 2008 to 2011, News Digital Media from 2006 to 2008 and Howling Media from 2004 to 2005.
