Dentsu international elevates Luke Speers to APAC chief people officer

Dentsu ANZ’s Luke Speers has been promoted to a new position at dentsu international heading up HR for the APAC region.

Speers took to LinkedIn to announce his promotion, noting that he was “truly looking to partnering with a region that offers so much opportunity, growth and most importantly, incredible talent”.

The move comes after nearly 6 years at Dentsu ANZ, where Speer’s held roles as head of talent, human resources director, chief people officer, and most recently, chief people officer for ANZ/ SEA.

Prior to his time at dentsu, Speers spent several years in consulting, before moving into human resources at iSelect, where he worked as across roles as head of resourcing and head of people.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO dentsu ANZ Angela Tangas said: “Luke Speers, previously, chief people officer, dentsu, ANZ (and SEA) has been promoted to the role of regional HR director, APAC.
