Sydney-based online design community Designcrowd.com has launched a competition to find a better new logo for Livestrong, the cancer charity backed by disgraced drugs-cheat Lance Armstrong.

Livestrong has just launched a revamped logo to move away from associations with the controversial cyclist, with a black bar sliding beneath the Livestrong name to suggest “forward and dynamic movement”, according to the charity.

DesignCrowd is putting $750 up as prize money, and already has received 200 redesigns in a global contest to source a better logo.

Some of the submissions can be seen here.
