Digitas appoints Ashleigh Bruton as head of social

Publicis Groupe’s Digitas has appointed Ashleigh Bruton as head of social.

Bruton joins after a stint in New York as director of social media and performance marketing at Penske Media Corporation.

Previously, Bruton was partnerships director at Social Soup and senior strategist at The Remarkables Group.

Digitas head of media, James Hudson, said: “We are super excited to bring Ashleigh into the fold as head of social. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge to further develop and grow our social division and ensure their amazing thinking is incorporated into our connected marketing approach.”

Bruton takes over from Sarah Louise Bell who departed in November last year.

Hudson joined Digitas at the start of last year from Zenith where he was the head of digital.

Digitas’ clients include Tourism Australia and Fiat Chrysler.
