Disney and Westfield celebrate The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary

Disney and Westfield have collaborated to celebrate The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary, through a series of experiences in Westfields across Australia and New Zealand.

Westfield and Disney have today announced a year-long collaboration in celebration of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary. Disney100 commemorates the fans and storytellers who have sparked the joy and wonder that is Disney over the last 100 years.

The collaboration will come to life throughout the year, inviting customers and fans of all ages to join in celebrating the milestone. Customers will enjoy their favourite Disney stories and a series of unmissable experiences, in Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand.

The celebrations will commence in February, with 25 family holidays to Disneyland® Resort in California to be won by Westfield Plus members. Winners will experience this magic with prizes including flights, airport to hotel transfers, three nights’ accommodation, and three-day Park Hopper Passes.

The “Happiest Place on Earth” is at the heart of this once-in-a-lifetime global celebration with exciting new experiences and entertainment, décor, specialty treats and more to enjoy throughout the year.

Experiential Disney retail pop-ups will follow, inviting in-person access to shop exclusive Disney Store merchandise. Popping up in select Australian Westfield centres, the experience will also offer immersive shopping photo opportunities that celebrate iconic Disney moments.

To mark the collaboration, Westfield and Disney have released ‘Your Disney Moment’, a campaign film bringing the magic of Disney to a Westfield centre. Paying homage to some of Disney’s most iconic scenes, songs and characters, the magic of Disney is brought to life at Westfield with the help of a very special guest.

A full calendar of magical Disney moments at Westfield centres will take place throughout the year, including larger-than-life LEGO® installations, competitions, events, activations and more.
