Brisbane’s Nova 106.9 held a presentation for agencies and clients to share the future strategy for dmg Radio Australia network.

The invitation-only speaker series was held over breakfast on Wednesday 19 October at the Nova Brisbane Teneriffe studios and featured presentations by Group Marketing Director, Tony Thomas, Brisbane Program Director Jay Walkerden and Ideas Director of the new division DMG Create team, Andy Milne.

The event is part of an ongoing series which sees speakers from various divisions of the Nova Network share their strategy and rationale with clients and agencies.

“The Nova Brisbane speaker series gives our clients exclusive access and insight into the Nova business,” Nova 106.9 Brisbane General Manager and series founder Sean Ryan said.

Clients were told about strategy behind the recent on air changes which saw several major moves around the country including the new Nova 106.9 line up that rocked the Brisbane radio landscape.

The changes were explained in context of the Nova brand focussing on the all-important under 40 demographic.

The session ended with the new Nova 106.9 breakfast team Ash, Camilla and Luttsy with Stand-In Dan, fielding questions from the curious audience about their roles within their new show.

Guests were also given an overview of the new division of dmg Create – a full service agency within the business encompassing strategists, campaign implementation managers and researchers.
