Domain wins February YouGov Biggest Brand Mover crown

Real estate portal Domain has taken the top spot as the Biggest Brand Mover in February, according to statistics from data organisation YouGov.

Domain acquired this achievement by making gains in five out of 13 BrandIndex metrics across the following categories: Purchase Funnel (Consideration, Purchase Intent), Brand Perception (Customer Satisfaction), and Media and Communication (Aided Brand Awareness, Buzz).

Laura Robbie, YouGov’s chief executive officer of the APAC region explained that Domain’s win is a credit to the real estate giant’s commitment to improving the customer experience.

“In a time where the cost of living, particularly housing, continues to be a concern for Australians, consumers are valuing a brand’s accuracy and transparency,” she said.

“Domain has taken this on and made notable improvements to its house pricing platform, Pricefinder. By demonstrating this commitment to its customer’s experience, Domain has secured the top spot as YouGov’s Biggest Brand Mover for the month.”

Joining Domain in the top five include the Coca-Cola owned water brand, Pump (made gains in five metrics in the brand perception, media and communication, and purchase funnel categories), financial heavyweight Citibank (also achieved five metric improvements in the categories), Chevrolet (five metric gains) and Apple (four metric gains).

Last month, CommBank topped the list, followed by Airbnb, PlayStation, L’Oreal, and Snapchat.

In December, Nivea and Olay topped the list in first and second, respectively, while Virgin Australia, Apple and Allianz rounded out the top five. Other brands that have taken the crown include Corona, Singapore AirlinesHisenseBudweiserEuropcar and QBE Insurance.
