Dory finds moviegoers’ affection as Nemo sequel sets records

Finding Dory, the long-awaited sequel to Finding Nemo, dominated the box office at the weekend netting $10,238,270.

With rain descending across Australia’s east coast on Sunday, movie houses were packed with fans waiting to see what happened to the scatter-brained co-star of the original Disney hit.

Warcraft: The Beginning, drawn from the popular massive multiplayer online games, scored a healthy box office draw of $3,386,585, ahead of Me Before You which drew  $2,859,676.
