DR MUMBO: The editor who brought a story back from the bar
DR MUMBO was impressed to see the byline of Alan Rusbridger in today’s Sydney Morning Herald. What with him beign the editor of the Guardian in the UK, it’s not typical to see his copy downpage on page 13 of the SMH.
But after finding himself at the scene of a drama – well, an opera being premiered in a bar after a power cut at the Royal Opera House in London – he rolled up his sleeves and filed the copy that even got syndicated to the SMH. And he was even multimedia enough to film the event too.
