DriveMyCar allows customers and UberX drivers to test drive Subaru Impreza

Peer-to-peer car rental platform DriveMyCar has teamed up with Subaru giving customers and UberX drivers the chance to drive a new Subaru Impreza in a ‘try before you buy’ marketing push.

The platform will allow customers to ‘try before you buy’ the Subaru Impreza

The campaign will allow drivers and potential buyers to try out one of the 101 Imprezas on offer for $199 per week and try out the 101 features the new cars have.

Colin Christie, managing director of Subaru Australia said the offering comes as a result of the success of pushing 10 Levorg wagons through the platform.

“This supports our ‘101 stories’ initiative, that we used to launch the new Impreza, with huge success, based on customer uptake,” he added.

“DriveMyCar is taking off and having these vehicles available for rent through the peer-to-peer platform will allow thousands of potential customers to experience the new Impreza in real life, in a ‘try before you buy’ scenario or as an UberX passenger.”

Chris Noone, CEO of DriveMyCar said he was “delighted” to offer customers a sought-after car.

The cars will be available to rent across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from March 15.
