Droga5 creative director Nott to speak at Australian design pow-wow
One of the world’s most awarded creatives is to be the central drawcard at Australia’s Semi-Permanent design conference in April.
Ben Nott, the New York-based creative director of Droga5, will speak at the gathering, which is Australia’s biggest design event. Nott’s career has included more than 60 awards .
The event takes place on April 3 & 4 in Sydney and on April 8 in Brisbane. Other speakers include Digital Domain, which won an oscar for tis post-production work on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button this week, and Ron English of the UK edition of Wired magazine.
“Semi-Permanent is about designers inspiring designers. Ben Nott is at the top of his field and has a lot to share with our audience,” said conference director Andrew Johnstone.
Tim Burrowes founded Mumbrella in 2008. He worked on Mumbrella until 2021. At various points he was editor, content director and editor-at-large.
