Dulux’s B&D Group selects Thinkerbell for its creative account

B&D Group, a Dulux Group brand that offers garage doors and openers, has appointed Thinkerbell as its creative agency, following a competitive pitch process.

Thinkerbell has already begun work on the account, developing a new brand platform to be launched later this year.

Dulux-owned B&D Group added Thinkerbell to its agency roster

B&D Group appointed Speed as its communications strategy agency of record in March and the agency now works on its digital account. OMD works on B&D Group’s media planning and buying.

Previously, B&D Group has worked with BWM Dentsu on its creative.

Therese Winterburn, marketing and innovation director at B&D Group, said Thinkerbell “felt like a new generation of agency”.

“Thinkerbell won us over in the pitch with their commitment to providing the right strategic and creative solution for B&D. It felt like a new generation of agency and they just got it. Exactly the type of partner we were looking for and an important part of B&D’s success moving forward,” she said.

Margie Reid, the recently announced CEO of Thinkerbell, said: “We are delighted to be working with the B&D team and to help them sustain their leadership position and grow the brand even further. We are looking forward to seeing the platform come to life and working on such an iconic Australian brand.”

Thinkerbell’s clients include Dan Murphy’s, 13 Cabs, Bega, Sukin, Lion and IAG.
