Dylan Lewis returns to radio with Mornings role

Longtime radio and television host Dylan Lewis will be the host of Double J Mornings in 2024, the station has revealed.

“Dylan has been a friendly and familiar voice on Double J for the past few years, and we’re so excited to be kicking off our days with him in 2024,” a statement from the station reads.

Lewis was weekends host of Mornings in 2020 and 2021, before which he hosted various shows on Nova.

He is, however, most fondly remembered as the host of Saturday morning music television show Recovery, which aired on ABC from 1996 to 2000.

This appointment comes after triple j group music director Richard Kingsmill was made redundant after a 35-year stint last week.

Since then, ABC’s head of music and creative development, Meagan Loader, triple j Weekend Arvos host Jess Perkins, and triple j content manager Natalia Newling have also left the broadcaster.
