Ebiquity names Paul Murphy as new ANZ managing director
Marketing and media investment analysis consultancy, Ebiquity Plc, has appointed Paul Murphy as its new managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
With experience both client-side and in agencyland – at Mindshare, cummins&partners, Carlton & United Breweries, Dentsu’s iProspect, and most recently Kookaburra Riot, among others – Murphy brings nearly 30 years of expertise to the new role.
Murphy will be responsible for leading Ebiquity’s strategy and business operations in the local region.
Under his leadership, the company hopes to continue delivering strategic value to clients, elevate its profile, and expand and progress its ability to support marketers to achieve effective and responsible advertising.

In the past five years, through mergers, acquisitions, and internal investment, Ebiquity has grown its portfolio of products significantly across media performance, media management, and marketing effectiveness.
“The Asia Pacific region is a key market for us, and we are delighted about Paul’s appointment,” said Ebiquity’s global CEO, Ruben Schreurs.
“He is a highly respected executive, and his appointment strengthens Ebiquity’s capabilities in the media and digital space.”
Murphy will report to Leela Nair, managing director APAC, who said: “We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the Ebiquity family.
“His appointment reflects our commitment to best serve our clients’ need, help them improve media investment decisions for better business outcomes and in doing so, create a better media world together with their media agency partners.”
Of his appointment, Murphy added: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Ebiquity at this time of seismic industry change. Advertisers have never been more aware of their impact and responsibility than now, and Ebiquity is uniquely placed to support them achieve effective and responsible advertising.
“I look forward to connecting with as many people as possible in my new capacity in 2025,” he concluded.
He will be based in Sydney.
