eBus appoints Botten national sales director as it gears up for battle with AdStream and Dubsat

Ashley Botten eBusAd delivery service eBus has hired its first national sales director as it gears up to take on established players AdStream and Dubsat.

Mumbrella can reveal that the role has been given to Ashley Botten who was previously channel partner manager at media monitoring company Meltwater Group. Botten worked for Meltwater both in the UK and Australia.

“Ashley has an outstanding track record building international sales teams; teams focused on online solutions for the creative and communications industry. He’s a great fit for both eBUS and our clients, plus understands exactly what we’re trying to do here in Australia,” Carmine Masiello, CEO of eBus said.

Botten said: “It’s exciting to finally bring eBUS’ leading service and reputation to Australia. In a market that’s had little choice for over a decade, we look forward to showing how simple and cost effective TVC delivery can really be.” – Ashley Botten, National Sales Director

Last month, eBus was bought by London-based IMD in a move which will signal the company’s expansion with the Asia pacific region. In time it is likely that eBus will rebrand to IMD.
