Edge extends relationship with Australia Post and picks up Secure Pay

Content marketing agency Edge has extended its work with Australia Post by securing the content creation account for Secure Pay.

The announcement:

Leading content marketing agency, Edge, has extended its work with Australia Post by securing the content creation account for Secure Pay.

The new relationship with Secure Pay, Australia Post’s online payment gateway for businesses, will see Edge deliver a new digital and content strategy, including a new content-driven website targeting SMEs as well as social media content.

Edge’s ongoing content strategy for the Australia Post Business Lounge website, http://businesslounge.net.au/, provides SMEs with practical insights and tips to help them grow their business.  As a result, it is one of Australia Post’s most successful revenue generating business campaigns.

According to Edge’s Digital Director Joel Egan, many B2B businesses, like Australia Post, are seeing the benefits of content marketing.

“Content marketing can really help B2B businesses to create relationships with customers in a way that gives them a competitive advantage. Providing information and solutions that help their customers in a valuable way goes a long way in building trust, remaining top of mind and differentiating from competitors.”

“For Secure Pay, Edge will be delivering an ‘always on’ strategy, as opposed to short burst activity. Being an online service provider it makes sense for the brand to always be able to engage its customers. It means the content works harder and pulls customers in rather pushing out sporadic messages with little chance of connecting with audiences,” added Egan.

The account wins also contributes to the continuing growth of Edge’s Melbourne office.

“Edge’s Melbourne presence grew significantly in 2013. We landed a number of new accounts, like Secure Pay, Australian Super and the Institute of Public Accounts.”

“We also won a lot of new digital work, winning several competitive pitches against digital agencies. Brands are really starting to see the role of content in digital strategies and how it can be used to successfully reach and engage audiences,” added Egan.

Edge’s Melbourne office services several accounts including Australian Super, Australia Post, Secure Pay, Suzuki, Institute of Public Accountants and Australian Unity.
