Editorial team announced for Feast magazine

SBS and Pacific Magazines have announced the editorial team who will join publisher Georgina Brujic and editor Alix Clark at Feast magazine which launches on Monday.

Pacific Magazines and SBS today announced the editorial team of the new monthly newsstand food magazine, SBS Feast. Launching on Monday August 1st and backed by a $1 million marketing campaign, the 164-page perfect bound magazine will be available in all supermarkets nationally, selected newsagencies and retail outlets, presented in a premium size, with a cover price of $6.50.

Georgina Brujic, Publisher, SBS Feast, said: “The positive response from retailers to SBS Feast’s launch has exceeded our expectations. We’ve received overwhelming national retailer support which demonstrates the confidence and demand for this exciting new title.”

Georgina Brujic and editor Alix Clark lead SBS Feast’s editorial team. Dan Peterson has been appointed Art Director, bringing a wealth of experience gained on titles including Monument, delicious and Qantas Magazine, as well as through the launch of BBC Good Food and relaunch of Vogue Entertaining + Travel.

Selma Nadarajah joins the magazine in the position of deputy editor, having previously worked on a number of leading glossy food magazines, including delicious, Vogue Entertaining + Travel and MasterChef Magazine.

Other editorial appointments include Katherine Cordwell who joins SBS Feast as a designer, Jannah Kelly has joined the masthead in the capacity of sub-editor, and Rachel Bartholomeusz has been appointed editorial assistant.

“We’re excited to announce Feast’s editorial appointments and I believe this experienced editorial team, under the editorship of Alix Clark, will deliver a product our readers will continue to embrace each month,” Brujic added.

SBS National Manager, Consumer Publishing and Brand Extensions, Sharon Ramsay-Luck said: “The announcement of the editorial team is another exciting step closer to the launch of SBS Feast. Each member of the team brings with them specialist skills which, in close collaboration with the SBS team, will bring our vision for SBS Feast to life.”

In the coming weeks, 150 boutique grocers, delicatessens and specialty stores across Australia will be distributing free sampler editions of the magazine at point of sale, in addition to 850,000 copies inserted in a number of Pacific Magazines titles.
