To support the launch of eftpos’ first brand campaign in its 23-year history, Australia’s leading debit payment system, has added Razor and Totem Communications to its list of agency partners.

Led by Simon Rush, Principal, Razor will continue to look after the media planning and buying, having managed the media buying and planning for the initial eftpos brand campaign, launched in April.

Creative brand response and digital agency Totem will work on Direct Marketing creative and communication campaigns to help eftpos engage with its stakeholders and bring the brand to life online. The Totem team is led by Directors Andrew Johnson and Bruce Bennett.

Earlier this year, eftpos appointed Sefiani Communications Group as its corporate and consumer public relations agency and M&C Saatchi Sydney as its advertising agency.

Neera Manawakul, Head of Marketing, ePAL said, “Welcoming Razor and Totem to the eftpos team is yet another exciting development in our quest to bring this ‘sleeping giant’ to life. Following the launch of our first-ever brand campaign last month, we are now focussed on the future. We want to educate consumers and merchants about why they should press ‘cheque’ or ‘savings’ at the checkout. Totem and Razor have demonstrated their shared passion with the eftpos journey and have already proven their commitment to delivering stunning work. They are a great addition to the eftpos team and will complement the work currently underway to ensure eftpos continues to be the way Australia pays.
